Visa on Arrival

Visa on Arrival 2026 — the classic counter entry to Bali

Paid at the airport on arrival, the Visa on Arrival grants a 30-day stay for tourism and short business. We brief you on the process, the official IDR 500,000 fee and how to extend — or apply online with eVOA instead.

What It Is

The traditional way to enter Bali

The Visa on Arrival (VOA) is Indonesia's long-standing counter visa, purchased at the immigration desk the moment you land. Governed by Permenkumham No. 11 Tahun 2024, it remains the familiar choice for travellers who prefer to settle their entry in person rather than online.

A VOA grants a 30-day stay for tourism, family visits or brief business meetings, and can be extended once inside Indonesia for a further 30 days — a maximum of 60 days in total. It is not a work permit, so any paid or income-earning activity calls for a KITAS instead, which we are glad to arrange.

If you would rather skip the airport queue altogether, the electronic Visa on Arrival (eVOA) delivers the same entitlement, approved online before you fly. We handle either route and advise the smoother one for your nationality and travel plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can use the Visa on Arrival?

Passport holders from the nationalities listed under the current VOA regulation. If your country is eligible, the VOA is a simple route for a short stay; if not, we will recommend the right alternative, such as a B211A.

No. The VOA is strictly for tourism, family visits and short business meetings. Any paid or income-earning activity in Indonesia requires a KITAS, which we can arrange for you.
