What are the primary visa options for Bali in 2026?
The main routes are the electronic Visa on Arrival (eVOA) for short tourist visits, the B211A visit/social visa for longer stays, and the KITAS family of limited-stay permits for work, investment, retirement and digital nomads. All are governed by Permenkumham No. 11 Tahun 2024.
Can I convert one visa into another without leaving Bali?
In many cases, yes. Several onshore conversions are now possible — for example moving from a visit visa to a KITAS — without a visa run. Whether it applies depends on your current status and nationality, which we confirm before you commit.
Which visa suits a remote worker or digital nomad?
For shorter creative or remote-work stays the C5A is popular; for income-earning nomads who want a full year without a local company sponsor, the E33G Digital Nomad KITAS is usually the better fit. We will recommend the right one for your income source and timeline.
How much does a Bali visa service cost in 2026?
Costs vary by visa type, nationality and duration. We send an all-in, itemised quote up front that separates our agency service fee from official government charges — message us with your details for a personalised figure.
What is the Bali Tourism Levy?
It is a one-time charge of IDR 150,000 (about USD 10) per entry for foreign visitors, introduced under Bali Governor Regulation No. 36 of 2023. It is separate from your visa and paid online through the official Love Bali system — we remind every client before travel.
Are your prices the same as government fees?
No. Our quoted prices are all-in agency service estimates that include our handling, sponsor and liaison work. Official government fees are charged separately and vary by case — both are shown clearly in your quote.
How long does the application process take?
An eVOA is typically issued within a day or two. A B211A usually takes around five to ten business days, while a KITAS can take several weeks depending on the category and biometrics. We give you a realistic timeline for your specific case.
How fast can you reply once I message?
During office hours (06:00–22:00 WITA, seven days a week) we reply within about two working hours, often much sooner on WhatsApp.
Are biometrics required for Bali visas in 2026?
For certain long-term visas, yes — in-person biometric data collection is now mandatory. We schedule and prepare you for any required appointment so it is quick and straightforward.
What happens if I overstay my visa?
Overstaying carries a daily fine and, for longer overstays, more serious consequences. If you are close to your expiry or already overstayed, contact us immediately — we handle overstay situations and extensions discreetly and quickly.
